Is peanut butter a good post-workout snack?!

Question: you don't want to ingest fats post workout. you want to stick with an easily digestible form of protein like low fat milk, protein powders, white fish or egg whites and some carbs. fats slow gastric emptying which means it takes longer for nutrients to migrate from the stomach to the lower gastrointestinal tract where the majority of digestion takes place. peanut butter is a great source of healthy fats but post workout is not the time for that. the two times you really don't want fats in the meal are breakfast and post workout.

The best post work out snack in my opinion are bananas. I can work out way longer when I have a banana before. And I sweat way more.

Sure. Plenty of protein and calories...sounds good to me:)

Well Peanut's are.

it's good but not great because of the high fat

try lean meats for protein or nuts

sure, but maybe use a no sugar added peanut butter or the kind that's fortified with Omega 3's to help with building muscle.

Well... it has protein in it, but if you can tolerate celery that would be even better!! It helps with getting your 8 glasses of water a day into your diet, plus it is hard to digest, so you burn calories eating it. Yum yum..? Not so much, but it's totally good for you!

NO.
too much fat. i recomend bananas to replenish your potassium, and give you enough carbs to burn off.
or pickles, i know it sounds weird, but it raises your blood sugar so that you won't pass out, or become dehydrated, has salt to raise blood sugar, and you can definitely burn it off.
