3 minute abs real or fake?!


Question: I recently watched the 3 minute an workot on youtube and I was really wondering if it was really going to help me because I don't want to just waste my time on it....i am trying to get a 6 pack for this girl that i like anfor myself of course but I am currently on the 8 minute abs program (along with one mile a day 5 times a week) but I just want to know if I add the 3 minute an workout if it would be beneficial to my workout r just a waste of time....your answers are appreciated

I'm not sure about the video, as I haven't watched it.... but any core work will develop the muscles.
Sit ups, crunches, hanging leg raises, russian twists... they all work the core.
Your muscles grow when they are resting, not working so training them more may have a detrimental effect.

The thing about abs is, you need a fairly low body fat percentage for them to be visable - about 10% or less for men. So you could already have that 6 pack, but hidden under a layer of fat. Make sure your diet is up to scratch!

One more thing, do a search for an exercise known as the 'hover' or 'plank'. This trains your transverse abs (the ones you can't see) that hold all your guts in, giving you a nice tight, flat stomach.

Well yes only if you target the muscles hard enough.

Most people do crunches or sit-ups. I do leg ups and V'ups much more effective and hits the core muscles harder message me for more info on my workout and diet if you need any help/
