Your probably not eating the right stuff. You need more complex carbs, protein and good fats. Even a slight replacement to one of your dietary consumptions can cause miraculous results. Also if your young try to up your saturated fat a little and good fat (mono&poly) up ALOT.

Don't go overboard on simple carbs (sugary stuff), you'll regret it and it will only be bad weight gain.

You should be eating 104 grams of protein MINIMUM a day. Heck just eating a can of tuna and a couple eggs would fulfill half of the protein you need in a day.

First step is being honest, second step is being CONSISTANT. You probably eat alot one day (1,700-2200 calories) and crap the next day (900-1000). Don't worry, that's 95% of America. The key is everything I told you above and try and eat 4-5 times a day. Your not a bodybuilder so don't listen to anyone who says more than 5 times a day.

how old r u?? i dont think you are ___ wut ever u said, i have a friend and she is the same and she eats and eats and she just has problems gaining weight. u have nothin to worry about, maybe they are just telling you to get fatter because they ar jelous

I would recommend seeing a doctor about this to get a professional opinion. You may simply have a high metabolism...which is the envy of my fat people like i used to be. Being too active could cause you to burn extra calories/energy, so perhaps you are not gaining weight...best to see a doctor for this...

it's called having a metabolism. :) I have the same "problem" .. am 5'11 and weigh about 150 .. can easily have 6 plates of pasta or 4 burgers and still be hungry .. then again I do exercise quite a bit, biking to and from school and for most of my errands and some social events, so usually between 30 and 80 miles a week. i also play ice hockey twice a week and a little soccer, tennis and basketball as well.

Great post! I totally understand how you feel. I'm also trying to lose weight and I found this great product which is working for me (it's all 100% natural - a colon cleanse that was really gentle on my body. I feel so good and I lost 15 pounds). You can check the website at
http://think-fit.info , I had a free trial and paid less than $5.00 shipping and handling. Best of luck!
