Skipping lunch..?!


Question: im 13 about 5 ft 2 in. and weigh about 98 pounds.
i dont eat lunch at school but i do eat breakfast and eat as soon as i get home from school.
if i drink water throughout the day will my metabolism still be ok?
and no im not anorexic im just not hungry at lunch.

also i do have stomach fat at the bottom of my stomach but my ribs protrude like crazy! it seems like there too big for my body..? if i wear fitted shirts it looks like my stomach is split into 2 parts! i hate it! its like my ribs and then the fat at the bottom of my stomach! =[ what could be the cause of this? i know its not that im too skinny cause i have enough tummy fat but my ribs protrude soo much! what could i do to make them look smaller or what could be the reason they protrude? how could i correct this?

please help 10 points best answer i promise!

You're supposed to eat 5 small meals a day. But to get rid of the lower stomach fat. Lay on your back..and lift your legs straight in the air..and let your legs drop but pick them back straight up before they hit the ground and do situps. You go in pushup position, and instead of being on your hands..put your forearms straight on the ground and tone your whole core.

u have to eat a bit every 5 hours.. otherwise u will starve

Just eat more.(eat at lunch!)
You need at least 800 calories a day to stay alive and healthy :)

it sounds to me that your not getting enough to eat. if your that tall at 13 your weight should be more to be healthier.

your are ok just the way you are try to at least snack on a piece of fruit or a pop tart some crackers and some juice do not think you have to lose wieght that is dangerous my daugher is your height she is 110 pounds and she is perfect as she is and she is happy and you are still growing be a kid focus on school and your life have fun child

remember. diet is not the way at your age because ur still growing. For ur abs. u just need to tone out ur entire stomach.

do more repetitions (20) for 3 sets (times) = 60 should be enough for u.

maybe if you do start to eat lunch at school maybe your body will adjust a bit more

Water does nothing to your metabolism at all. You need to eat throughout the day if you want to keep it fast. What you should do instead of having 2 or 3 big meals a day, have 5 smaller meals and that will keep your metabolism up.

What you could do about your ribs is do cardio workouts to get rid of the lower fat. Cardio worouts keep your heartrate up which helps burn fat. Examples of cardio are running, jogging, riding a bike, fast dancing, playing certain sports, and jump roping.

hi! it has nothing to do with skipping lunch! it will take a little while for our body to fill in the spance that looks empty- the best thing to do is crunches! this will build the muscle in our stomach and fill the empty space AND it will eventually get rid of the little bit of fat you have too<33

ok hunni you are 13 and you are 98 lbs
im 16 and weigh more then that
you should eat 6 meals a day but small meals
like 3 meals breakfast lunch and dinner and 3 snacks
if you dont like your ribs gain a lil bit of weight it might look better but not alot
to make you look akward
