If I do this: (READ INSIDE)... will I lose weight?!


Question: If I have:

-two Clementine's for breakfast, a can of tuna for lunch, and maybe some chicken and fruit or veggies for dinner everyday
-drink only milk or water
-eat a very limited amount of junk food

-run on the treadmill every day, 2-3 or more miles


Will I lose weight? I just want to lose like 5-10 pounds, I gained some unwanted flub over the winter. Lol.

Well, it sounds like that would work. To lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you take in(but healthy cals not junk) To lose the "flub" in a safe and healthy way you should eat from ALL the food groups, which means you need to add some carbs in your diet as well.
oh and if you run on the treadmill as your only exercise, you might have a tendency to bulk up(this happens to me). I would suggest some yoga/pilates as these gain strength and burn cals without bulk. some anaerobic exercise would benefit as well (situps, leg lifts, pushups, etc)

so your diet might look like this:
1-2 clementines or other pieces of fruit + piece of whole grain toast for breakfast
lunch-tuna and some veggies (bell peppers and sugarsnap peas are very healthy and filling)
dinner-small portion of lean meat, fruits/veggies, whole grain carbs(small portion)

treadmill workout as you suggested and some core work afterwards,
OR
30-40 min pilates/yoga tape

Add some fiber to your diet, and do not forget calcium either.

well what your doing is rather healthy but i recommend discluding milk from your diet because it has a lot of suger and contains fat and trans fat. other than that you will lose weight quickly with your fitness plan
