What is the ideal weightlifting routine? Why?!

Question: There is no ideal lifting routine. Everyone responds differently to stimuli, and it also depends on many variables like how advanced a person is, genetics, age, nutrition, gender, goals, etc.. In other words, no one routine is going to work for everyone.

Most experienced lifters find things that work specifically for them over time. Typically this comes about through education, trial and error, working with others, and experimentation.

The successful athletes are usually fitness and nutrition experts. Not only have they made fitness their lifestyle, but are continually learning more and striving to be better. Knowledge really is half the battle.

So, what you could do is choose a routine that looks good and has proven results (testimony from other successful athletes) and follow it for a while, see how it works for you. Perfect technique and if necessary have a trainer show you how to lift correctly, safely and effectively. A good workout program should always include a nutrition regimen, whether it's for strength gain, hypertrophy or cutting. Diet is 80% of any routine.

I am no expert at all, but I use common knowledge, years ago, people were in much better shape than todays people. we have a lot of technology that wasn't around years ago. From cars to grocery stores, tv and refridgerators, You gotta put your mind back years ago and see the way we lived back then. everything was a chore, just to get some water you had to walk to a pump and pumpthe water to drink, Exercise all day every day.

think about a bath, thats a lot of weight to be carrying around,

Ya had to go out and hunt for meat, lugging through the terrain. Ya had to walk miles to get to a store, even to see ya next door neighbor sometimes, ya tended the garden and animals all day, and you did it 6 days a week at least. Back then we built houses and sawed down trees for wood, now we just use da ink pen and buy them.

So thinking about you turning the tv with ya remote might explain why you gotta pump iron and exercise like a manic a hour a day when back then we did it all day every day.

And ya sitting in front of the computer right now, fully at rest and don't even have to leave ya seat to learn. this moders stuff is slowly killing us all !
