How can I work out at home?!


Question: I dont like going outside because theres too much people and I'm shy. I dont have enough money for tredmills or other equiptment. I have stairs but I tried that and I fell really bad.

find a place to go walking where there aren't too many people. i'm a people person but i don't like the people in my town.
invest in a rebounder fitness trampoline. they are about $40. they work your thighs, buttocks, stomach and raise your heart beat. you can lose weight from jumping on it for 30-60mins. I love my rebounder.
do sit ups, push ups and crunches.
buy some single hand weights or improvise with object around 4-6lbs.
jog on the spot while watching tv.
dance to music.

if you have a phone directory and a chair you can work out you butt muscles makin ur butt bigger...(hug the phone directory and sit on the chair and then stand up) do it lots of times.
you can do pushups to put some muscle on ur chest
sit ups for abdominals
and squats for thighs and butt at the same time.

Get a cheap home gym system like the Bowflex or the Giselle. They have credit programs where you can charge the whole thing and make payments as little as $30/month. That may seem expensive, but it sure beats paying to use someone $25/ month to use someone else's gym. When you get the money, finish paying it off. You'll have a new piece of equiment and your body will thank you.

buy some barbells, they only cost a few dollars. you can also do some calisthenics or aerobics. you can just buy a video for the latter and surf the internet for some tips on the former.

You can run in place, crunches, jumping jacks, pushups, and it all takes a small part in your house. And try going up the stairs again, i have no idea how you fell? . Or use heavy items around your house and carrying it around. Or try doing pushups, the opposite way. Instead of going down and your face, facing the ground, make it your butt facing the ground.

How about workout DVD's? If you dont mind doing these, I would suggest one called "Walk Away The Pounds" by Leslie Sansone. Great workout for every fitness level, low impact, medium, and high. HTH. Ive had great results with this.
