I need to get in shape for summer?!


Question: I am a 13 year old girl, 5'5" and weigh 135 lbs. I know that is a lot, but it is mostly muscle because I ride horses 2 times a week. Besides riding, what other things can I do to get in shape? I have an elliptical and I usually go on that sometimes for 30 minutes.

135 is not alot. im 13 and i weigh more, im also trying to get in shape. but your mindset should be different because thinking your overweight when you not can lead to eating disorders. you shoulod do strength training, like lunges crunches and pushups. it helps build muscle that makes you look good, and gaining muscle makes you burn fat. and dancing also helps i love to dance and i make it more fun by doing it with my friends! hope i helped. =]]
