Answers: ok im 11 and 130LBS and 4.9 ft tall........i really hate being fat how can i lose weaght fast plz help

So I totally assumed you were female. My appologies if you're a boy. I've edited it to reflect both genders. Sorry! :)

While being 4.9ft tall and 130 lbs may seem like a lot, it is common to put on a few extra pounds before a growth spurt. It evens out when you shoot up a few inches.
But if you feel fat, then there is a problem. My advice to you is to stop eating junk food (even tho its tasty and everyone else eats it) and maybe eat fruit between meals if you are hungry. And to drink water instead of pop or too much juice (even too much of a good thing is bad).

You probably don't have too much say in what's made for meals but there are a few things you can suggest to your parent/guardian to help you make good food choices. Maybe eat whole wheat breads and pastas instead of white. Drink skim or 1% milk and skimmed milk cheese. Bake or broil, instead of frying meat or potatoes.
If you have gym class, try to make it count. If you are not into sports or athletics, try skipping. I know it seems childish, but many professional body builders and fitness nuts spend a lot of time skipping because its great cardiovascular exercise, cheap and easy! Doing some push ups and sit up (in the privacy of your bedroom) can help strengthen and tone you muscles.

Counting calories, weight loss programs, expensive gyms and work out videos are not a good idea. While they may be great for adults, none of that is recommended for a growing body. That is just opening the door to possible eating disorders and future problems.

Lastly, you will have to gain weight to grow into an adult. If you're a girl, for a nice womanly figure with boobs and a butt, you will have to weight a little bit more than some stick thin child-like girl with no body. If you're a boy, you'll need more weight to fill out your chest and arms to be stronger instead of looking like a little boy.
If you are hungry, eat!! Don't starve yourself. But eat good food. And don't eat if you're not hungry (unless its a meal time and your parent/guardian says so)! And get your body moving, even a walk around the block is better than nothing.
Don't strive to lose weight, strive to be healthy.
And if all else fails, talk to your doctor.
GOOD LUCK :)

It doesn't sound like your fat to me! But, cut out all fattening foods or cut out all carbs and sugars! No soda! No fast food! Tons of Excercise!!!!

i went throught the same when i was 11 but i was more like 120. If i where you i would ask your parent to buy you turbo jam it really works and dont try any crash diets they do nothing.

slim mints that is what i did i was in size 36 and now im in size 32 but for 11 i wont do anything yet because i grew 2 so i would just wait til ur 15 at lease

ask your doctor. she/he could help you find the healthiest way to lose weight. you have to be careful though since you're only 11.

eat six times a day, small portions, go play some sports. You will melt the fat away in no time.

Oh sweetie, ask your mom if you can join weight watchers with her. I'm assuming your mom/grandma/aunt, whoever could also lose a few pounds (most of us could!) It is 10 a month, but it is an amazing program. It teaches you how to eat and the proper way of losing weight. If you learn now, you won't struggle when you are older. And remember that you are growin, so most likey as you hit 8th grade you will lose alot of weight. If you can't afford to go to a program, count calories. I would reccomend you to have 1200 a day.

I dunno. I know it must be hard. You need to get yourself on a healthier diet. Drink a lot of water and excercise. Dont tone just yet. Just do the treadmill or the other one that looks like you climbing. Good luck girl. Dont let it get you down.

First of all, I don't believe you are "fat". You are still growing too, so you need to eat right so that when you are older nothing bad will happen. If you are worried about what you eat, talk to your doctor, they can help you make good food choices. Eat more fruit and cheese as snacks instead of chips and drink juice and tea instead of soda. Join a sports team or go out and play to get exercise. Get a pet, they will keep you busy. Good luck.

My son is a bit chunky for 11 years old also. What I tell him is just to maintain his weight for now and once he grows a few inches he will grow into his weight. I have also started a diet for myself but do not think kids at this age should go on a diet. Diet modification is a good idea though. My son is aware that doing little things like not using ranch to dunk french fries in or drinking Crystal Light instead of soda is a huge help. Exercise is also very good. I go walking for an hour everyday and my son comes along on his bike. This simple steps will help you. Remember it is the long term results that are the most important. And as I said, it is not healthy for you to go on a "diet." or to lose weight rapidly. Hang is there do some slight lifestyle changes and you will get healthier and stay healthy for life.

talk to you rmom; ask her to help by preparing meals with less calories. have healthy snacks instead of junk food inthe house. walk every day for 1/2 hr or so. check with your doc to give you a healthy meal plan. and this WILL NOT happen narly as quick as you want. learning to eat healthy is a lifelong habit.

first walk 3 miles each day for 2 weeks and you will loose 1 pound of pure fat, cut fast foods and eat greens. dieting does not work alone without exercise. do not take pills because they have side affects that are not good. when you run in PE spread your legs out so you can run farther without getting tirred

Please listen to me: DO NOT try to "diet" on your own. When I was 11, I wanted to lose weight and developed an eating disorder that has lasted the past 7 years.

1. GO TO YOUR DOCTOR. Ask your mom to make an appointment. They will tell you if you are truly overweight, and if so, how much you should/can lose. They will tell you the HEALTHY way to lose weight at such a young age, which is...

2. EXERCISE!!!!!!! Join a sports team. Turn off your TV. Get outside. Athletic people don't NEED to diet.

3. Eat as many plants as you can, and avoid fast food and crap that slows you down and makes you feel bad about yourself.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't try any fad diets or starve yourself. I'd have rather been horribly obese than have gone through the hell of anorexia/bulimia. I was super skinny but on the inside my body and mind were being completely destroyed. NOTHING is worth that.

Talk to your doctor. My life would have been very different if I had done that at your age.

stop eating junk food .

At your age a very low calorie diet is a bad idea. You would lose weight, but would regain it again very quickly.

At 11, you still have a very high metabolism, so your best bet is just to get more exercise and eat healthier. Make yourself a promise that every day after school you are going to take a fast walk for 30 minutes. Cut back on high fat foods like hamburgers and fries, fried chicken, or anything breaded and deep fried. Talk to your parents about your concern, and ask them to help you. If your mom doesn't often have time to cook, ask her to take you to Subway instead of McDonald's or KFC. Go to your local library for some books on healthy eating. You are old enough to do a little cooking on your own.

You are very smart to start getting a handle on this problem now while you're young. You should be proud of yourself.

Good Luck!

Try cutting sodas and chips (I know when I was that age...which was 6 years ago so don't worry... every day for lunch I had a bag of Doritos, stick of mentos and a lemonade. Super healthy...NOT! It was awful, I was waaaay chubby then.

Skip the school lunch and junk food and bring peanut butter and banana/pear sandwich's (jelly has a lot of sugar which equals fat...plus real fruit tastes better) and carrots, or turkey sandwich with lettuce and tomato, tuna fish sandwich (they stink though), a chicken salad with light dressing. Maybe even pack tacos! If you make it (or your parents) make it with turkey burger it's even better!

For breakfast have cereal without the sugar, go for cheerios or an organic bran. Or try oatmeal, I add a bit of honey and frozen berries, (I know it's bland but it really grew on me and that's all I eat for breakfast now!) Breakfast burrito with 2 eggs, spinach, salsa, turkey burger or hamburger...yummy!

Then for the final thing...do a sport! Basketball, track (my suggestion), swimming, soccer. Whatever you want!

I hope this helps! And don't completely cut yourself off to everything you love...or else it's a diet and diet's don't last...we don't want that!
