Burning fat too fast bad?!


Question: okay my friend john is 160 lbs. he is 15 yrs old. he wants to lose 20 lbs of fat fast... like 5 lbs a week until he gets to 140 lbs and he keeps asking me if he burns it off too fast will he have saggy skin.. i didnt know the answer to his question .. so i'm asking you to help out my friend here.

15 or not he isn't going to lose 5 lbs of fat weekly. he will not get saggy skin as 20 lbs in his case is only about 12% of the total bodyweight which is not a lot to lose even in a short amount of time. saggy skin is typically seen when large amounts of weight at lost in a short amount of time like 20-30% of the total bodyweight.

He won't get saggy skin because he isn't that large to begin with and he's still growing. Losing weight too fast can be unhealthy internally with your metabolism and digestive system.

Yes, that could happen, but seeing as how he's 15, he'll probably be okay, and his body will adjust accordingly. However, losing 20 pounds in a span of a month is unrealistic and likely to create other health issues (i.e., over-exercising, under-nourishment, shock to body and metabolism).

He Wont Have Saggy Skin if He's Burning Fat by Exercising,, As That Will Tone Him Up!!!
But if He's Not Doing Much Exercise Then Yes Probably!!
