How can i resist snacking in between meals??!

Chew gum or brush your teeth. It keeps you busy, gives you flavour, and if anything, minty gum will ruin anything you eat after chewing it.

Drink milk with your meal as it is high in protein and will keep you fuller longer.

IN between, make sure you drink LOTS of water. If you feel a craving drink a glass of water then wait ten minutes. IF its still there, eat a little bit but only half the amount you would usually take.

There are two parts of this answer. First, examine why you want to not snack. Is it for a goal for yourself, or what you think someone else expects of you? Is the goal something that will better you, or just present a 'better' you to others? If you don't do it for you, it is really hard not to snack on the junk snacks.

Second - snacks are not the forbidden fruit. In fact, most people who lose weight and eat healthier have snacks regularly, even 2-3 times a day. But they choose different snacks, such as no fat yogart, raw carrots, fruits, celery, etc. Also, I find that chewing a mint gum gives me a lasting taste and satisfies my desire for chewing.

Find better for you snacks!!! half an apple with peanut butter or cream cheese dip is best!! other things are like fresh veggies with a little dip!! If it is crunchy it has loads of fiber in it!! Therefore is not fattening!!

Also if you give up about half the complex carbs you are eating, you will find you don't need as much for snacking nor will you want them as much. Complex carbs include all starchy veggies, breads, cereals, pastas, rices. You will get enough fiber from the crunchy veggies and fruits.
