Should i eat less?!

Question: I am female, 5'9, 19 years old and i weigh 136 pounds. I have lost 2 pounds this week, i was hoping to lose more...but i was wondering wether maybe i am eating too much. I have been trying to eat between 1300-1500 calories, with an aim of 1300, but is this too much? I am fairly active, i exercise for 30-45 minutes (walking, elliptical, treadmill etc) at least 4 times a week. Everything i have been eating is healthy, i snack on fruits and have lean protein and whole grains etc. Should i try and eat less though? i want to lose 10 pounds by the middle of May, and 6 of those before 17th april. please help..

Why are you looking at the scale? The only thing a scale shows is a bunch of numbers. The thing you should be looking at is how your clothes fit you. If they're too tight, you should cut down on desserts and sweets and make your exercise longer. If your clothes are too loose, the last thing you should be doing is eating less. If your clothes fit you fine, then stay the way you are.

You should not eat less. What happens to your body if you eat less is your body is going to get use to eating a 1300 calories each day. The moment you start eating 2000 calories per day, your body is not going to be use to it and will store the extra calories as fat. So I suggest not to eat less.

no your fine

Maybe you shouldn't eat less, just make healthier choices and watch your calorie intake.

136 at 5'9? that's not big at all! You're at a perfect, healthy, and attractive weight

No... maybe you should aim at 1200... Thats a nice even number... It also helps to stay off the meat. I'm vegan and I'm quite skinny

No. If you work out and eat less you simply won't be getting all of the calories you need. Try giving it some time.

do at least 200 sit ups and everything else u do 7 days a week not just 4.

Don't eat less, just better. Don't have any sweets, that helps.
And something else you could do is exorcise a full hour and drink alot of water, no soda or beer.

Rather than eat less, try excercising more. Not over more days but instead try 45 minutes cv in morning and 45 mins later in evening, 4 times a week. That way you still have 3 days rest each week. If you eat too little your muscles will become flatter and you'll loose your body tone, hence any nice body shape you have, and thats not a good look to be flat and unfirm. A good weight loss is 4lbs a week, you'll be fine keep up the good work

no you're perfect. 2 lbs per week is a healthy weight loss, if you lost more faster than that you could develop serious health problems.

a person who does not want to lose weight eats 13 times the calories of their body wieight.
For example : A boy weighs 100 pounds then he should eat 1300 calories.
If you want to lose weight you lower the amount of calories

You are doing good with the calorie count but make a set number like 1400.

wow you are little but just incase heres a Really good diet plan

eat turkey bugers
rice
eggs in the morning
for dinner no fried foods!
try this diet for a week and you will definatly see results

well you weight just fine to me for your age.
but if u want to lose weight, u can eat less, but it doesn't help some people

Well, I'm only 12,and your weight isn't so bad. At times I eat food that has about 200 calories (Sometimes 150). My mom's weight when she was 25 was 95 pounds. Eat right and exercise, you could end up like that.

Well i am 15, 5'9 and am 115 pounds. My doctor says i need to gain weight, and aim for about 135, it doesn't seem like u need to lose weight at all, just eat healthy
