Question about regaining appetite?!
Question: Your brother who is fourteen, was critically injured in an auto accident and had to spend many months recuperating in a rehab hospital. While in the hospital he did not eat well. Once he could feed himself and eat a regular diet, he still refused most food. Your mother said it was because he was depressed and at times was being stubborn. Can you think of other reasons for his poor appetite that he had little control over? How would you help him to regain his appetite without giving him drugs?
