Has anyone ever had this happen to them?!


Question: you're stressed out and you open a big bag of funyuns or other chips and you start eating it and watch TV or go on the computer and suddenly realize you ate like the entire bag? i just did :/ and i'm supposed to be on a diet this week

Portion control, the best way is to never eat anything from the packet. If you want chips then pour a couple of handfuls into a bowl and eat from there. The only way to eat too much is therefore to keep going back to the cupboard for more.

Don't buy funyons or chips

don't diet...they almost never work.

Yeah - I do that a lot. It's not usually when I'm stressed more than when I just want to relax a bit. I go to watch some sports and think 'it would be great to have a few chips/m'm's/candy/whatever) then a get a bag of one of those sit down and watch an hour or so and then realize that I have eaten like the entire bag. No matter how much I try to pace myself I always overeat on them! It's not a big deal - just a minor set back in a diet but 1 day is not that much in the end. Next time I guess I would just not get the chips out in the first place. Once they are out it is impossible to not eat them! Good luck!

I do that too! It's good not to eat or limit what you eat when you are distracted...watching tv, on the computer, talking to someone ect...You lose tract how much you eat so quickly! Don't be sad though! Tomorrows another day! YOU CAN DO IT! =)

ah yes i remember the days when that used to happen to me. like 3 months ago... what u should do is either dont take the whole bag out just take some chips out and eat those or dont eat in front of the tv or computer becuase that distracts you and you dont realize how much you're eating.

things about diets, they never work, because you're supposed to do exercise while you're on a diet.
