Why do so many women adopt the 'lazy' approach to weight loss?!

Question: Allot of women i know who are trying to lose weight very rarely exercise and tend to try out slimming tablets and diets. Why do more men exercise to lose weight than women? Are women just lazy? I am a woman and i exercise and just adopt a healthy eating plan for life, rather than for a month so i can get into a new swimsuit? I find these womens' approaches to weight loss and health disgusting.

i dont im like you i changed my eating habits i exercise hard regulary but i do it because i enjoy it aswell plenty of times people say to me why are you doing it still they dont understand because i enjoy it makes me feel 'the buzz' afterwards

Many women work now and they are just too tired to exercise so they want to find something easy. Healthy eating shouldn't be that hard though.

A lot f people, both men and women, want something for nothing and want to do as little as possible and look fit and trim.

I think its the time factor , most work full time have a house children and a husband to look after. Then there is the garden the car and the dog are you getting the drift. When i worked full time i only had about 5 hours sleep a night and didnt have any spare time to spend on myself. Lalaina i agree with you.

It has something to do with fatigue. We get tired easily, and when we exercise, we're tired to begin with.

I know what you mean though. I'm only thirteen, fourteen in October, and I'm on a strict diet and exercise plan, keeping three different charts, and with no help, because no one in my family wants me to lose weight. So...I get it.

We live in a society that thinks there's a pill to cure everything. We are also big into instant gratification.

Generally speaking, most men grew up being more active than most women therefore they exercise more.

not all women gain weight from food - stress is a big factor as well as lack of sleep - which for most women this happens after the second or third child - what time do you have - add a job and no husband and that women is struggle - food is about the only thing left to enjoy - once really over weight - it has to be a full time job to fix and no skills to fix the problem just pills. Training on how to fix it and a good plan in place to attack it and commitment to doing it is the best way to succeed. Glad you are doing great! Keep it up!

Men are more open to the world of physical activity.
In general I would say people are looking for a quick fix out of ignorance. They don't really know the mechanisms of weight loss.
