13 year old boy wanting to lose lbs and body fat?!


Question: ok im a 13 year old boy and i think im 168lbs i know im over wait and i like this girl alot so i want to look good for her i want to know how to lose wait and body fat kinda fast but not to fast mabe like a couple mounths any help?

First of all, never lose weight for anyone except yourself. Doesn't matter how cute they are, or how great or awesome. In the end, it all comes down to how happy you are.

You did not mention your height so I am going to have to improvise. Count your calories. Cal. means energy! The more calories taken in, the more you have to do to lose weight.

Cardio and light weights are the fat-killer of choice. Weights-only will do it too, but you will gain weight at first and become big and bulky and unflexible and in the end look like a shrivled Arnold Governator!

If you can, work out in the morning. There's no food in your gut, so you are burning pure fat! If you can't do it in the morning, no worries, just make sure you don't eat an hour or two before work out.
These are all suggestions. I am not a nutrionist or a personal trainer. For your safety consult a medical physician before attempting these workouts.
Also: if you have access to a gym then most likely they have personal trainers. Ask your parents if they will pay for one.

Workouts: Always stretch beforehand. Your arms, wrists, neck, back, legs, torso. If you have access to a gym, do a light jog at 5.5 or cycle in the high 80s RPMs for about 10 mins.

Then do about ten leg lifts. Make sure your back and arms are fully on the ground. Do them slow, legs together, stop where your knees pass over head, then back down.

Then about 30 seconds-minute of bicycle kicks.
20 crunches (make sure shoulder blades come off ground and squeeze ab muscles at the same time).
Flip over and do twenty pushups.
Repeat the cycle once more, or if you think you can do more, add more reps!
Then go back to the treadmill and do 10 minutes of cardio at least 6, with appropriate cool down. Make sure to bring water with you!

Cut out sugar. I bet this is your biggest problem being that age group. Try it for a week and see.

EAt lots of fruit and veg drink plenty of water.

If you want it bad enough then you can do it. Exersize and eat right. There is no quick fix. Your looking at alot longer than a couple months bud. Maybe like a year.

You will have to eat grilled chicken salad while all of the other kids eat pizza!!!
