I know its possible to lose 40lbs. in 30days, but is it unhealthy?!

Question: It will be very hard to have that kind of calorie deficit to lose over a pound a day. It will most likely come from water muscle and very little fat. Your body can only metabolize a certain amount of fat at a time.
That is why you see and hear that 2 pounds per week of fat loss is healthy.

Your body is a very efficient little machine. It knows how to survive and adapt so once you cut the calories that drastic it will do what ever it takes to hold on to the Fat stores. This is the unhealthy part as your body will eat the healthy muscle mass to keep the fat for later.

I can't think of any healthy way to have that much weight loss.

Thats losing a pound a day...
You'd have to be exercising a LOT

it depends on how you try to lose it.
if you don't eat, than obviously yes,
but if you just work really hard and
be healthy, than no.

Yes it is. It is better to go at a slower pace to give your body time to adjust and replenish itself.

Yeah, it is. Plus it can cause stretch marks and saggy skin if you lose weight that quick.
The recommended "healthy" amount of weight to lose is between 2 and 3 pounds a week. You're also more likely to keep it off if you lose it more slowly.

I wish!

Losing that kind of weight in such a short period of time is certainly not advised. It can cause plenty of health problems. I would consult your doctor, and get recommendations on starting a healthy weight loss program. Unless you have just received a gastric bypass surgery or are working out some ridiculous amount of hours a day, then this kind of weight will not normally come off in a month. To take it off, and keep it off, permanently, you should start a regimen of daily exercise, and keep a healthy diet. By doing this, the weight should come off in a matter of a few months, not just one. Good Luck!
