Tired all the time?!

Question: I'm tired ALL the time. I don't eat really good, but I don't eat really bad either. I take iron pills and I go to the gym a couple times a week. I also drink 2 cups of coffee almost every day at work. I get about 7 hours of sleep every night. Yet, I'm STILL tired and feel like I need to take a nap everyday and I'm always yawning. WHAT should I do?!!? I'm tired of being tired!!!

It could be due to a number of things. I am only guessing, but here goes:

What else is in your diet? Do you eat a lot of salty foods? To much sodium can make you fatigued as it thickens the blood, causing the heart to pump harder. Do you eat foods with a lot of sugar? I doubt you do, but perhaps you should check what you are eating. Too much sodium, sugar, caffeine, etc., can cause fatigue. Coffee can bring you up but also bring you back down real quickly.

It is possible you may be lacking certain vitamins that you should be getting from your diet. If you don't eat certain fruits, veggies, or meats, your body may be lacking the nutrients to keep you going. Are you eating enough protein? A lack of protein will definitely cause fatigue!

It could also be that you are a bit dehydrated. Caffeine is a diuretic, and you may be losing potassium if you are urinating frequently. Potassium is essential to your heart and energy levels. Perhaps a bit more water will help, along with some fruits like oranges and bananas which are both high in potassium.

It is really hard to say, but maybe there is something in what I said for you to speculate.

its that coffee you are drinking...seven hours obviously for you isnot enough..so you need to get more hours of sleep thats all....stop drinking coffee thats one reason you are tired

i wish i could help...unfortunately i have the exact same problem!
Eating better and lots of exercise is meant to help though

i was like that and i ended up with a vitiman b12 deficiency having to get injections every 3 month for rest of my life. get your bloods checked for peace of mind
