1000 isn't enough for a growing 13 year old.

Go to a dietitian and get a proper diet guide for someone your age. If you do it this way, you may grow, but your bone density and muscle tone will suffer. Also, if you don't eat enough your body will feed on your organs, leaching away at them a bit at a time until you fall ill.

You will do better to see your GP and ask for a referral to a dietitian. You'll lose and be stronger for it.

GL!

no

no you wont. that diet is competely unhealthy

ur supposed to eat 2000 calories a day

There's a strong correlation between height and nutrition.

Poor people and people in third world countries are often shorter than their full potential due to lack of nutrition.

Ummmmmm you won't stop growing, but, eat...a lot less. PLEASE please.

you will be fine just do it, i wish i had

I think you probably wont grow, because you will die.

Use this Web site: www.thedailyplate.com

You tailor it to your weight, height, meals, exercise, and goals. It is awesome.

Good luck, and be healthy!!! Don't starve yourself or get obsessed with being skinny! You are beautiful just as you are!!!

women are supposed to eat 2300 cals a day, u r unhealthy.

u shouldnt starve urself. just cut down on fast food and eat subway. 2000 is fine per dy if calories. also try the special k diet. it really works!

times that by 2 and you will be healthy.

your 13. eat what you want. what the hell is a 13 yr old tryin to lose weight for any way, just do heaps of exercise

No, you need at least 2000 calories a day. If you intend to go on a diet, talk to a doctor first. They can give you more info.

to maintain your healthy weight, you need to eat 2,000-2,500 calories a day. dont cut back on calories, cut back on calories from fat. avoid the higher ones. avoid junk, but eat healthy things, like tofu, salad, and apples.

You will grow you are 13 and you are gowing through your stage of grouth it will happen within 2 years wher you get taller.

ok stop eat veggies you dont want anyone to call you fattie at school or at any place [dont take this ofensuve]

You would be doing the exact thing the goverment is trying to stop. That is having overweight obeese kids.

you need more calories then just that... i would say about 1700 - 2200... in that range.. and make sure u get enough protein.. that helps u grow.. not just carbs

substitute less eating with more exercise and than you won't have to worry about not growing while you still lose weight.

eat healthy... but in normal quantitys that you always do... and excersice every day for 30 min for 8 weeks .. record your weight now... and after 8 weeks of excersice... and then wen you loose wat you want you excersice 3 times a week

Even though you don't feel hungry, 1000 calories a day isn't enough for anyone! Talk to your parents and talk to your doctor about finding a good weight and diet for you. Your doctor can tell you how much you should eat in a day and how much, if any weight, you need to lose. Not eating enough can certainly harm your body, especially since you are going through puberty. Let your doctor help you!

At your age, you should be eating way more calories than that(between 1800-2200 per day). If not then yes it will have a major effect on your growth and could cause mental problems as well. If trying to lose weight, cut calories to 1600 per day but never go below that to avoid the growth problems.

make sure you are not just eating foods that have low calorie but that actually have a good nutrition. if you are getting your nutrients and your needed calories you will be fine. there are websites online that can tell you how many calories you should be getting depending on your age and height. if you are a taller person you can eat more stuff than someone that is not as tall. also, when you are younger you have faster metabolism and will be able to loose wait easier than if you were older.

you will but its not really healthy you should at least eat 1800 calories or 2000 thats what i do and i excercise rite like you do and im still in shape

You will grow but just not what you could grow if you ate a more. I would say base your diet on a 1500 calorie diet or maybe even 1700. 1000 calories is way too little.

thats so unhealthy. try a low card high protein diet. and eat the 5-6 small meals a day. also make sure you eat breakfast this will help your metabolism speed up and burn more calories thought the day. also exercise more do cardo and strength training.

No. Calories give you fat. In order for you not gain weight; you have to look at the nutrition facts on the back of all foods. It will tell you what kind of fat is in it, how many calories, how much sodium(salt), and how much sugar. Get a diet that works great with you and stick with it.
