Answers: for a teenage girl??

Red meat especially liver
Eggs
Oily Fish eg: mackerel, sardines.
Leafy Vegetables
Grains such as wheat and oats
Lentils
Beans
Soy,
Leafy greens like spinach,
Broccoli
Mustard
Dried fruit
Oatmeal
Whole wheat bread
Soy products such as tofu, tempeh, and soy-milk are all excellent sources of iron.
Vitamin C also helps the body to absorb iron from food, so you should eat vitamin C-rich foods and iron-rich foods together if you want more iron eg. a glass of orange juice with a bowl of breakfast cereal. Tomatoes are also a good source of vitamin C.

Tunafish is a great source

Liver and Seaweed

cream of wheat. My doctor told me to eat that when I was anemic.

chickpeas and rocca salad (rocket) or spinach.. try to combine it with vitamin C to maximize absorption ( oranges..lemon..)

Spinach
Shredded Mini Wheats (I'd assume they add iron too it, but if you look at the box it has like 90% of your RDA of iron.)
Kale
Red Meat

When I was pregnant with my son I was constantly getting anemic. The nurse told me to eat something with Vitamin C with something with iron because it helped the body to absorb the iron better.

You asked the question! Don't diss the answer. Liver (chicken or beef) is the BEST source of dietary iron--nearly twice as rich in iron as any other source.

Beef of any description is a decent source. Cooked spinach, molasses, baked beans, kidney beans, and dried apricots are also fairly good sources.
