Exercise and dieting. Help?!


Question: I am 180 pounds and I am on a diet and I walk at least one hour a day, do 50 sit ups and 100 exercises for legs. My intention is to lose 1 kg a week (2.2 pounds)
I was wondering would if I lose all my weight by end of summer, would I have a six-pack (because I don't really want to have it, I just want a flat stomach).

Let me start by saying that guy at the front is an idiot. Losing about 1-2 pounds, or .5 to 1 kg a week is healthy and good for your body.

Secondly, it takes a certain body type to develop a six-pack. Most people can't actually get one. The major problem with a six-pack is that to display it, you have to dehydrate your body. Your abs show through the skin when you don't drink enough water and your cells shrink. It's really not healthy, even though it looks 'good.'

to loos 1kg in a week is to much. it will give negative effect later on.it will be good if you loos ikg. per month.

Naw, if you WANT a six-pack and are WORKING to get any pack, then you might. My suggestion during this diet is limit your starchy foods and don't drink alot of soda or fizzy beverages. Doing that will make you feel less bloated, (including during your time-of-month).

Six-packs are very, very, very hard to achieve for 90% of the populations. Our bodies are just not built that way. I have talked to many people who have achieved it in the past but decide to cut down on their exercise and diet after because in their words "they felt like [expletive]"
