Since I really, really hate working out......?!


Question: I was wonderig if there is anything that I can do that CAN get me into shape?
(Sofar...I have considered taking on Bowling....I like it.)

Most sports are good but bowling is probably not enough exercise. I go by the rule that if you can drink beer while you are doing it, it is not a sport. Bike riding and swimming are both fun and give you exercise.

Go on bike rides, find a nearby climbing wall and climb it, play tennis or racquetball, find a group of friends (or a dog) who love to play frisbee, go hiking or play golf, there are tons of ways to get some exercise while having fun! Bowling is good too!

dancing is good cardio!

You just need to find something you like doing. Ride your bike through the woods or walk a mile or two with a friend while you talk so your mind isn't on the exercise. Try a yoga or kickboxing class. Weightlifting can be fun too. Try listening to motivating music on an MP3 player or Ipod. Buying workout clothes that you like can also help get you in the mood to workout.

well working out as in weight lifting won't necessarily get you in shape.

on the other hand cardio will, bike riding, use it as a method of transportation opposed to the bus or car within the city.

jogging, marital arts, swimming.

Golf and swimming are both pretty good and low impact.
Swimming works pretty much all of your muscles at once and golf is great for your core (and great for your legs too if you carry your own clubs and walk the full 18)

Bowling is exercise but that is the right track. Find things that are physical that you enjoy doing. Any sport or outdoor activity combined with a proper diet (not starving yourself) will show results in no time. Just don't expect to drop 5 lbs a week. Slow and steady and you won't get discouraged.

when you can walk vs. drive do so. Do you like to shop? Spend the day walking around the mail. Force yourself to walk at least five minute between stop into stores. That should make the exercise for pleasurable.

Bowling is good, and you like it that's good. You have to find something you like and do it. Hiking, walking are good. Go on a vacation and make part of that walking and travling through the hills and countryside. Golf is good. What do you like to do? You say you like men, find a man you like to do numerous things with.
