Should I use creatine?!

Question: I'm 19 years old and I'm about 6'1" 150lbs and I want to put on more weight. I have a very fast metabolism and even tho I eat all the time, I don't put on weight. I was thinking about using it but I heard it just fills your muscles with water and not actual muscle.

Muscles are mostly water anyway but i would say creatine is a waste of time, i used it for years and got no benefits from it.
Buy yourself some protein shakes or powder.

no creatines bad **** dude, don't use it

eat all the bad **** you can, go to mcdonalds like everyday and you'll gain weight in no time

Hi,

Creatine doesn't do your insides a great deal of good at all. A friend of mine went on a programme he found read his blog he had a similar problem to yourself but didn't want to take supplements, he got there in the end by exercise alone.

try weight gainer first. as long as you are working out... then once you have been on weight gainer for a while then try creatine. make sure that you know to drink alot of water with the creatine otherwise its not gonna work. its def worth it as long as you are serious about lifting

Don't use creatine. It doesn't help as much as everyone claims. Also, it's not FDA approved so there may be long term health effects, like with steroids. Just eat right (lots of meat, potatoes and vegetables) and vary your workout program to keep your muscles guessing.

If you workout, yes you should use creatine. WIll it cause your muscles to retain water? Yes it will. It will also allow your muscles to rapidly recover from stress. When your working out you will recover from the last set faster, therefore be able to lift more total weight during your workout. Assuming your eating right and sleeping well, this will cause more muscle growth than you would have achieved without creatine.

When you stop supplementing with it, your muscles will release the extra water, but you'll still have the gains you made to your actually muscle fiber.

Remember if you dont workout, you won't grow.
