Fasting buddy!!?!


Question: okay, so i have heard so much about fasting. not only on yahoo, but at school.

so i wanted to try fasting out for 2 or 3 days. just so i can get my body a little use to it.

so, do you want to be my fasting buddy?

I wouldn't recommend fasting for more than a day...your metabolism will go into starvation mode and start storing fat.

Fasting is not good!!!!!
I don't want to gross you out, but listen to this. When you go without food for 3 or more days, your body recieves energy by eating itself. Yes, you are actually eating the cushioning of your stomache!!! Also, when you dont eat a meal, the next meal you will eat a whole bunch more.

Please don't fast!!!!!!!!!!!

UR not even fat. But I dnt think u should fast its not healthy

just to clear a few things up,

fasting isnt all that unhealty. it's used as a detox in many religons, societys, and even doctors sometimes recommend them in certian cases. you can go about 2 weeks without eating, but that's not the best way to start out. your plan is good.

your stomach doesnt eat the cushioning inside itself. your metabolism burns off your stored fat in your butt cheeks and such to create energy. that's the reason we store fat! duh!

lastly, i suggest your just eat a little bit of breakfast (a slice of toast maybe?) to start up your metabolism and trick it into burning previously stored fat ALL DAY each day of your fast. drink PLENTY of water, and dont jump around too much because you could possibly faint.
