Anyone know how to trim belly fat?!


Question: ab workouts and running has not helped me. maybe my stomach can just no longer produced muscle (i was bulimic for 4 years, but not anymore)?? I have been doing the abs and running for 3 months.

Umm...if your in Canada or America..I really don't know about other countires. There is this show, well workout called HIP HOP ABS its fun and works the abs.

p.s you probably don't have belly fat maybe it's the balimia speaking again...???

its prob. not belly fat, its prob. just bulimia acting up and your not use to it?!

You can't trim belly fat alone. The body sheds fat from all around. So I'd recommend exercising more in general so you can lower your body fat. After that layer of fat is shedded from your tummy you can tone and your midsection will look great! =)

What kind of diet are you on?

Cardio and toning goes hand in hand with a healthy diet. If your under the mentality of running 2 miles in the morning, but going to grab a Big Mac then you need to set something else up. If this is the case, your are merely replenishing those fatty tissues that you burned off that morning.

So drop any fast food or high-sugared liquids (ie Coke/Pepsi), and start eating fruits/salads and plenty of water.

be carful about what you think is belly fat it could be excess skin from your rapid weight lose during your bulimic days. but one reason could be because your body is always trying to find equilibrium (equal state) so now that you've been running and doing crunches for three months your body knows what to expect and is producing enought ATP (body energy) to burn and not letting you burn the stored fat. the solution if this is the case is to mix up you work outs a little. do crunches with a ball behind your back to increase the range of motion needed or hang from a tree and crunch up (we had to do those in gymnastics on the bar and they burned big time!) instead of running tredmill try finding some beachers and run up the stairs. keep your body guessing so that it doesn't settle.
