Muscle building Stretch Marks!!!!?!

Question: I am only 12% body fat so i know this is a muscle growth issue. I workout 5 days a week, very strictly and have gained large amounts of muscle in the past 8 months. Im 6'1 220lbs and only 12% body fat and my arms are 19inches around. I have just recently got 2 very very small stretch marks barely starting on the tricep of my arm. How can i stop these from getting worse????? Do i have to stop working out for a while?

YES! you need to give your body a chance to figure out that it needs to produce more skin cells. those stretch markes are like scars. take about a week off from muscle building exercises. but keep up the cardio. one thing to help prevent stretch marks is to apply cocoa butter lotion (found at any walmart or target... anywhere really) and works best if it has aloe vera extract in it. apply this to your arms about 10-20 min before working out. hope that helps

cocoa butter, 2-3 times daily..it makes the skin elastic

you stop eating and put lotion on it ,,,it is good

hey, go to the drug store and pick up some coca butter... it's a cream you can rub in, smells like chocolate (made of the smae stuff) but works, women use it for their stretch marks from pregnancy... been using it since I was 16 for the same stuff, got some around the sides of my pecs, used this and they fade.. just kept using it.. don't have any. try it.

I have heard vitamin b6 and zinc are important for skin elasticity. Steroids cause tissue to break down. I am not saying you are taking them, just be forewarned. Cocco butter that pregnant women put on their stomach may help.

I have them on my biceps. I think there are ways to mask them but not fix them.

Cocoa butter may help as well as building muscle more slowly.

One thing that will help you lose weight: a colon cleanse. I was one of those who did not believe in them until I tried it. And I tried a few until I found a great one that works (its all natural too! - it's just pills, but you'll detox, lose weight, and fell much, much better). You can go to
