Eating...losing weight?!


Question: I need to stay motivated. You know when you are deciding to have that piece of cake? Or, when you are trying to push yourself to keep running for 5 more mins? I need something i can say or think of. I use to say the less you eat the less you weigh but that didn't work. Plz help!

Well, back when I was in 8th or 9th grade my friend told me that whatever you're doing (push-ups, sit-ups, running, whatever) just keep telling yourself that if you do so many more push-ups, or if you run so many more minutes...that a wish will come true. For example, there was a girl he liked and he always told me if he did 50 more push-ups she'd love him forever.
I mean, in a way, it's almost like lying to yourself but you never know if one might really come true. Anythings possible. So, if you don't mind the occasional let-down of a wish NOT coming true, it might be a good way for you to stay motivated.

I find visualising works quite well. Picture how much fat/sugar is in what you're going to eat, picture that going through your body and building up.
Or, picture how you're going to look when you lose some weight, picture yourself running or dancing or wearing the clothes you want to fit into.

the best option is to eat 5-6 small meal rather than 3 large meals. Also if you can do a small workout on top of your regular workouts in the morning. Say, 10 min. You have an empty stomach, all of the calories are fat. watch what you eat. MANY women start there day with all good intentions. Yet by the end of the day your pigging out on junk. If you don't eat a balanced meal, your body will look for other sources of what it needs. I.E. cravings. Also drink your milk, and take vitamins

I totally know what you mean... Try bribing yourself, or having someone else bribe you. Have a friend promise to do something awesome with you if you lose your desired goal or weight, or pick out a pair of awesome shoes you will buy when you acheive it.
