yes, jumprope is a great cardio exercise and actually one of the best. i would recomend jumproping at a moderate pace every night for 15-45 minutes...it should help with whatever you need help with

Some people refer to Cardiovascular exercise as aerobic exercise. Jogging, swimming etc.

its exercising the heart and lungs...so running, walking, jogging, anything along those lines

Cardio is anything that gets your "juices" flowing. Things like running/walking, cycling, rowing, etc. These exercises get your heart pumping at a high rate, which helps burn extra body fat as a fuel to keep going.

Anything that makes your HEART pump faster....................sex, running, jumping, kicking, punching, kenpo...etc.

it is a type of exercise which helps you to strengthen your heart and lungs. some of the example of cardiovascular exercise are swimming, jogging, marathon, etc. and yes my dear, jumping rope can help you to strengthen your heart.
