Is 126 fat for a 16 year old?!

First of all, it depends on how tall you are. Secondly, your muscle mass, bone structure, water retention, and fat percentage have a lot to do with your weight as well. If you are Five feet tall or above, GENERALLY this is NOT considered over-weight. You could either go to a doctor, or a REPUTABLE gym to get a height and weight chart. Keep in mind, that if you menstruate, you can gain about 5-10 pounds on average. Try NOT to weigh yourself during that time. Also, don't weigh yourself at the end of the day, gravity sets in (plus you may have eaten) this adds weight on you. Weigh yourself in the morning, when you first get up. Also, in the morning, you are slightly taller, because gravity has NOT yet compressed the spaces in between your spine; hence, you are slightly taller when you first awake. REMEMBER muslce weighs MORE than fat. If you have a higher muscle mass, and/or you are taller than your peers, you will have a tendancy of weighing more. Try NOT to compare yourself with the bodies of others. Everybody's body is different, and comparing it to somebody elses is NOT accurate. Don't worry about it. It does not sound like you are fat. That is actually pretty light. I'm 135 and I am 5 feet and 4 inches tall, and the doctors and the Army say it is fine. (I hope this helped)

But for a person of average height that is pretty much underweight.

And all those girls that are 106 pounds are either 4'5" or anorexic. By the way, most good looking guys like a little extra stuff. Like a big @$$ or boobs, and you can't have either if you are effing 106 pounds.

It depends on height and how you are built. I don't think you should worry if you fall between your weight range. Try getting a free body assessment at your local gym and they will let you know what your accuate weight should be for your height and age. Hope that helps :)

That is not fat at all. It is healthy. Young girls and women look and feel better at a healthy weight rather than a skinny size 0 weight.

it depends on your height; yet, it is not that much over weight. If you are 5 feet tall, may be you are about 5-7 pounds overweight. If you are taller than 5 feet, your weight could be just right. Look at this figures:Height Weight

It is very hard to find a female on this planet who is really happy with her body. But if you eat healthy every day, and get regular exercise you will a lot feel better about yourself. Try especially to take walks! This is very healthy and makes you feel great all over.

~~~ And you can't really compare yourself to anyone else. Their is only one YOU, and only YOU can decide what is best for your body. Everyones body works differently, every one has their own body shape. And this is important to remember. :)

~~~I'm 16 and I'm 130 lbs. And every one tells me that I'm not fat at all. So really, I would say that you at a great weight. But if you just say eliminate pop from you diet and replace it with water, you will loose any extra fat at all pretty effortlessly. Because it is becoming well known lately that if you drink 1 can of pop every day, in one year you will gain about 15 lbs. WOW! But if you are not a big pop drinker you can try eliminating somthing else instead. And this will take off any little extra fat that you might have.

do you lift weights muscle way more than fat, i am a personal trainer 5' 7" 133 pds some would say that was heavy but, I have lots of muscle, if your waist is not over 38" you are probably okay, if you feel you are heavy and y ou know, start an exercise program okay, goodluck I think your fine 16 year olds should be having a great time, watch your eating, eat 5 small meals per day whatever you do don't stop eating that will only lower your metabolism, okay, goodluck
