Workout - When will I lose weight?!


Question: I weight 160 lbs and have been working out every other day (cant workout every day - kids and work). i do the treadmill (fast walk) 30 min. Then arm, leg weight equipment, 20 min on stairmaster on weight loss course then arm weights again or the bike. Overall I workout an hour or hour and half. I've done this for 3 weeks now. So far, I dont see much difference. I have so much energy so I'm not a sluggish feeling anymore but as far as weight I'm staying near the same (mornings I weight 2-4 lbs less, evening 1-4 more). However, my clothes (at upper arms) fit less snug and some of my clothes are getting loose. But other days I feel like it came back on. Right now I cant workout any higher of a level. I already do the treadmill fast and get very tired.

I just was curious if anyone knows how to make the workout more efficient and more results? (I'm going to stay going - I wont stop when I lose some weight. Just didnt know if what I'm doing is working!

I workout 4 times per week (same here with work/kids). I joined a site that persnalized exercies programs just for me and I saw results almost immediately. Muscle weighs more than fat so the scale may not show it for a period of time.

diet also plays a role in weight loss. if youre exercising more but just eating the same amount, you probably wont see a lot of weight loss. make sure you eat healthy foods and arent snacking a lot during the day.

What most people don't realize that you start seeing the change and reduction in your measurements versus weight.
