Please convince me to continue fasting.?!

lol don't let people lie to you your not going to gain 30 pounds when you stop you just have to find it in your self to keep going

give up. you will only hurt yourself by starving your body. any weight you loose will come right back once you start eating again.
best bet is to eat healthy and exercise.

Why are you fasting? If it's to lose weight then it's not healthy (and hence stupid) and you should stop.

no don't give up. when fasting u can drink other liquids. Try hot cocoa. that's what i did when i had to fast. it gets u full faster than water.

The first day is the worst. If you can make it through today, you should be able to make it through the rest of your fast.

When I am fasting, I use hoodia gordonii to suppress my appetite.

What type of fast are you doing?

If it's no nutrition of any kind STOP!!!! that's not good for you.

At the very least have some broth (chicken, veggie, beef...) or veggie juice. Also add in some meditation

if you don't eat to feed your body it'll start feeding on what's there already - and contrary to what you think, it won't be fat, it'll be muscle...

sooo not worth it. eat sensibly, exercise, drink 2litres of water a day and don't starve yourself. allow yourself treats every day but just don't go overboard...

so in answer to your question, YES!!

Don't starve yourself. It just makes you gain more weight when you start eating again. Also, the longer you go without food, your body actually starts to eat the muscle and fat that you have. It can make you weaker, unhealthier, more tired, and a bunch of other things. The best thing you can do it excercise, and eat when you get hungry, just stop eating when you are full. If you eat slowly, you will give your food time to digest faster, and then you will know when your full faster, so you eat a lot less. Trust me, it really does work.

There were researches done way back that seemed to indicate that fasting is good for your body. It's one way of purging all those leftovers stored in your intestines and stomach that act like toxins in your body. If you're fasting for only a day, then don't worry coz it's OK. Water won't take away the hunger probably but you'll still be alive next day. I used to fast for one whole day on Thursdays each week when I was younger. Back then, I ran the marathon.
