I know this is ridiculous, but I need to lose 30 pounds in a month?!


Question: I have my prom on May 2nd and it is my senior prom. I am a vegan and I eat healthfully but I cannot lose weight! I've tried and tried. I know this is drastic but I am willing to work super hard to get it off. I just can't stand being overweight anymore!
Can someone please give me advice to get this weight off quickly? Thank you so much.

Losing 30 pounds in a month is very hard, not impossible, but hard. You show cut down the amount of food you eat, but not to much because you don't want to get too hungry you stuff yourself. Try to exercise as much as possible. Doing palates well help gang muscle and lose the fat, but you will not gang a lot of muscle. Also when you do yoga it relaxes you and well help you lose weight. When you are relaxed you lose more weight then when you are stressed, so don't stress about your weight.Well I hope that helps you and good luck and have fun at your prom!

you are right, it IS ridiculous, and it isn't going to happen.
If you want to do it right and have it stay off, see a nutritionist and get yourself a lifestyle change going. Otherwise, stop whining about your own lack of discipline in cramming calories into your face and planting your butt instead of getting the exercise you need.

Sorry cannot be done. It's unrealistic and don't even try. You can maybe lose 8-10 lbs following 1,200 calorie diet and exercising every day. But that's it. Anything else is dangerous and you either won't get there or will spend your prom in the hospital.

It took you awhile to put it on, it will take you awhile to get it off.

lifting weights will just build muscle..which weighs just as much as fat if not more
dance, walk, run
anything active

and drink water before you eat because its suppost to make you eat less

It's very unhealthy for you to lose that much weight so quickly. You should have planned ahead instead of trying to do it at the last minute. Sorry, I'm not going to give you advice on how to do something that's dangerous.

Well, you probably won't lose 30lbs in a month, but to take as much off as possible, I'd recommend eating plenty of protein, and enough carbs, and hitting the gym like crazy. Cardio every day, resistance training every other. Work out for about an hour and two a day, and you'll see results FAST. Drink a boatload of water!

Anything over one two pounds a week isn't safe. We don't gain it fast.

No way in hell is that going to happen. Keep eating healthy, do cardio & strength exercises. That will help firm your body some. Go to the mall and buy spanx to wear under your dress. It will give your body shape and probably make you look 10lbs lighter. Depending on your complexion, a tan will give the illusion of a more slender shape. Buy a self tanner. Just make sure it doesn't turn you orange. Good luck & have fun!
