Maybe it's more the percent of total body weight? Like, if someone weighs 150 lbs and loses 24 lbs, they have lost about 15% of their body weight. You have lost more like 7%.

Another thought, though, is that it could have to do with your clothing. If you wore loose clothing before and you still do, it might not be as obvious to others that you've lost weight as it is to you.

In any case, congratulations! Are you feeling any better than you were before? I'm just as vain as the next person, but that really is more important. And I'll bet as you feel healthier and it becomes easier to get some exercise you will even see the weight start to come off a little easier as you naturally become more active! I don't know the ages of your kids, but some physical activities with them, like playing sports or going to outdoor places like parks, zoos, or theme parks, might be a great way to celebrate your better health with everybody benefitting. And if they are still young enough to like hanging out with you, they will definitely notice that!

As for your coworkers, I'll bet the ones who do notice are also wanting to lose weight and not being as successful as you, so it's hard for them to congratulate you. If you get along, maybe you could exercise together or share recipe ideas. Another win-win. Those who don't need or don't want to lose weight probably just aren't as focused on it and maybe truly don't notice.

Good luck!

Congrats on the weight loss! Keep it up and don't worry about what others say or don't say.

yeah congrats it dosn't matter what others think about you in life but what you think about yourself and the people who see you everyday may not notice but go see someone you have not seen in awhile and they will notice the dramatic differance!

I agree don't worry about what they say (or don't say) don't let them get you down.

Are you wearing the same clothes? How do they fit? It could be that your clothes are making you look the same weight.

Keep up the AMAZING work! Sometimes people who see you every single day don't notice it because it's happening so gradually. I lost 20 lbs and the same thing happened my fiance didn't notice until i wore something that used to be tight...trust me stick with it, it will pay off! :)

Listen what it will take is you getting you a new set of clothes.I bet you are wearing your old clothes for comfort...right?They are still hanging around you.Get something that fits and they will see.24 pounds are a lot to loose.Congratulations..how did you do it??Luck be with you for your goal.
