I started using this website www.thedailyplate.com. You can enter your weight, height, age, gender, and how many pounds you want to lose per week. It then lets you know how many calories you should eat per day. You track your food on the site and the calories are already listed for each food item. You can also track your exercise and water consumption. Its great.

I tried all the fad diets and all the immensly popular diet pills, none of them worked. I was very disappointed. I had a baby and needed to lose about 30 lbs of belly weight. I joined a memebership site that not only helped me lose weight but taught me alot also. Everyone is different, not everyone will benefit from the same exercise and diet program, that is why I love this site, it offers customized exercise programs and educates you about your diet. It even gives you access to a personal trainer, I love it! It changed my life in a short time. I have recommended it to all my fmaily and friends! They are too getting healthy. This will help you utilize all types of resources to reach your goal to go on your holiday and enjoy yourself! Here's a review if you are interested! http://mihken.bezoogle.com/pp/weight-los...

I wish you best of luck!!

I know you want useful answers, but honestly, if you haven't managed to lose 20-30 pounds in the last few years, it's very un likely you'll do it in 6 weeks.

That said, the best idea is to make a meal and exercise plan for the next 6 weeks and stick to it strictly. Your caloric intake depends on your weight, height and activity level, but 1500 calories a day is not a bad starting point. Most of these should come from protein, fruits and veggies and whole grains. No refined sugar, no processed grains like white bread, white rice, pasta, etc. and no sweets. In addition, alternate 30-50 minutes of cardio with weight training every day (i.e. cardio monday, weights tuesday, cardio wednesday, etc). Also make sure you get 7-8 hours of sleep a night and drink at least 6 glasses of water.

aerobics.
try swimming now, it can help you lose tons.
jogging or even brisk walking.
bicycling.
play sports.

Hi

I just wanted to let you know about my experience I've made with a pill:

I bought the diet pill Proactol, after seing a friend of mine loosing 30 pounds in 2 1/1 months. She didn't experience any side effects at all, and was still eating the same as before. Then I got the pills myself, and the same thing happened to me. I lost about 28 pounds without dieting at at all during those 3 months. Also no side-effects.

There is quite a number of diet pills on the market also can help you achieve the same results but i will recommend you Proactol as the choice if you really want to take pills. But according to health research, control diet and exercise is still the best choice!!

A couple weeks ago, there was an article in Britains newspaper #1 the "Telegraph" and Proactol has been reviewed as the best weight loss pill on the market.

Check out the site if you want to find out more about Proactol
