Is This Ok To Eat To Lose Weight?!

Question: Breakfast:
- Banana (??? cal)
-1 c. Soy milk (80 cal)
Snack:
- Apple (??? cal)
Lunch:
- Meatless chicken (110 cal)
- Tortilla bread - whole wheat with flaxseed(150 cal)
- 3-4 leafs of Lettuce (??? cal)
Snack:
- Small orange (??? cal)
Supper:
- Veggie burger (100 cal)
- Burger bun -whole wheat (160 cal)
Snack:
- 10 Grapes (??? cal)

And drinking water whenever I'm thirsty.

I'm 18 years old, 5'4", and currently 150 lbs. Trying to get down to about 115 lbs before the middle of August.
I'd also be riding my bike (bought an indoor trainer for it) for atleast 30 minutes each day.

So by eating what I've listed and riding the bike each day, would I be able to reach a weight of about 115 lbs by the middle of August? And is it ok to eat the burger bun and tortilla bread when trying to lose weight?

As long as you keep this up with the exercise you should be fine because you are still eating health and not eating junk foods like chocolate and greasy foods so in my opinion you should be fine. believe me i know a lot about health and fitness and you should be fine buy august.
thanks a lot 0-o jay and good luck

Even though you are at a proportionate weight for your age and height, I would not recommend attempting to lose weight that fast. The most highly recommended amount of weight to lose would be one pound a week. Anything more than that you run the risk of putting it all back on plus more. As far as your diet, that seems to be ok since you're not taking in much of any junk food. But, be sure to take in enough calories as well. Not taking in enough calories when you frequently work out will cause your body to store calories as fat as opposed to burning it as energy. You also risk your body burning off muscle as opposed to body fat. Don't starve yourself, but instead watch what you're eating and make sure that you're making healthy eating choices as well as portion control.

As far as the workout, riding a bike is a great form of exercise. However, mixing up your workout, like your diet will be the best thing for your body. Do other invigorating exercise like running, swimming, and sports like basketball and soccer. I wouldn't go as far as lifting weights, but the more you alter your workout, the more different ways you're challenging your body to burn calories. Good luck to you.

bananas have 80, 100, or 120calories depending on size. apples have 100 calories. same with oranges. 1 lettuce leaf has 2 calories. and a grape averages 3 cals per. so, you're eating less than 950calories a day =/ which is very bad. two things will happen:
**your metabolism will slow down from lack of proper amounts of food and nutrition. 1200cals is the bare minimum a person can consume to recieve enough energy and nutrition
**this will promote over eating or binge eating. you will be hungry a lot of the time and your mind may send you strong impulses to eat a lot since its lacking energy.
be careful about how you diet and make sure your eating enough. try for 1200-1400 calories
