Me and my curvy tummy...?!


Question: So, I've never been really overweight or anything, actually for most of my life I've been relatively thin. But, I guess it started a couple months ago- my stomach has been bearing the brunt of everything it seems. My legs, arms, and butt stay relatively okay, but my stomach is a big problem. I'm about 5' 5", and 105-ish lbs. I'm going to be 16 this July.
I don't want to be continually embarrassed by my stomach. But especially with swimsuit season and shopping in the teen department where everything hugs your curves (good or bad), I just don't want to be super embarrassed.

Please help. Any good advice is appreciated. What exercises can I do? Exercises that really work. Is there anything better than normal crunches? My diet isn't horrible... it's not great either... but it's not like I'm eating McDonalds everyday or anything.

You're fine! Gosh. You'll need plenty of cardio.At least 10 minutes a day. Also, this works for me...
Daily, 100 crunches
70 jumping jacks
20 push-ups
10 min. running.

Umm...your underweight if anything you need to eat more....I'm your height and i weigh wayyy more than you.110 is the begining of an unhealthy weight for your height and your below that

You said this has been going on for a couple of months, it could just be a phase you are going through or i dont know you, but is it a possibility that you could be pregnant.

You're underweight. A healthy weight for someone your height should range between 111-149. Your BMI should be 24 but at your weight it's only 17.5.

If you tummy isn't as tight as you would like (which I have a hard time believing) do some crunches.
