No, constipation does not cause fat pileup.

Constipation can, however, cause a condition called impaction, where your feces impact (harden) in your colon and you are unable to defecate due to blockage.

Your strict diet might have temporarily impaired your intestinal motility (the speed at which your intestines work). Be sure to drink sufficient water and eat sufficient (but not too much!) fiber. Intestinal "muscles" are just like muscles elsewhere in your body--they become "weak" if you don't use them.
