OK when your friend gain all the weight back, which she will (I promise) let us know. The reason diet pills do not work is that it does not attack the problem, which is your lifestyle. So if your friend lost 67lbs on diet pills and reverts to her old eating habits, she will gain back the weight. To lose weight and keep it off you have to change your diet lifestyle and it is as simple as that.

Diet pills do work, but the risk of what is in the diet pills is what is the problem. Although it may seem ok now, the consequences on your health may be evident in your health 5 years or so down the road.
It is best to lose weight just with the eating and exercise, the reason is do you really want to be taking a diet pill the rest of your life? Whatever you do to lose the weight is what you need to keep doing to keep it up. Just cause you lose does not mean it is healthy.
People that are anorexic lose weight, but it affects the muscles which the body uses as a source of energy too.
It is just a matter of what risks you are willing to take. And losing weight is a matter of health, it is not only the size of clothes that you wear, so losing it in a unhealthy way does not benefit your body.
