Calorie Question...How many calories are in 20 grapes?!
Question: I am starting a new i don't wanna call it a diet becuz those have always disappointed me so lets just call it a a new healthier life choice. I am watching my my calories for two reasons. 1) So I can try to keep it under a certain number per day and 2) So I can monitor more closely what I am putting in my body!
Other then veggies (do canned ones count) what are other free foods?
Here is what i have had today so far.
Breakfast
Weight Control Instant Oatmeal 130 Calories (25 from fat)
8 oz Orange Juice 110 Calories
15-20 seedless grapes ? calories
For lunch I am having a
chef salad with 2 tablespoons of Fat free Ranch and
a HUGE glass of water.
Is there a site that can help figure out calories? That is free? I am also adding in some exercise into my routine starting this evening after dinner i plan to power walk for 20 minutes. I gotta start somewhere. how many calories should i get (the minimum to be safe) per day if you know. I see a nutritionist in 3 wks but just curious..

actually calorie counting will drive you nuts. just stick with the way you ate today. when i found out i had diabetes, my nutritionist told me that the best plan for anybody is to eat 3 small meals a day and 2 or 3 little snacks in between. this keeps your metabolism up and your body working all the time. people get in trouble when they don't eat breakfast, for instance, and then have a HUGE lunch. it's too much for your body to handle at once. so try that! i acutally lost a lot of weight this way. like 40 lbs!!
