How to lose side handles for lazy people?!


Question: I am not very big, I'm 5'6 and 140, but i get made fun of my side handles. i never have much energy to do anything, and i gave up on workin out because they dont go anywhere. theyre seriously huge. i love looking at my small wasted friends who look cute in their double layered tops, i know this sounds ridiculous, but i cant take the way i look anymore, i look like the michelin man. answers, anyone? lol

Well, love handles are simply fat deposits in your oblique/side area. Different people hold fat in different places and that last little bit of fat is usually the hardest to lose. There isn't any definitive way to 'spot' reduce body fat but here are some things I have found useful.
- do sprints (outside if you can). Instead of just jogging - sprint for ~100m, then jog back. These are called 'repeats'; start off with 8 sets of repeats and work your way up (distance and/or number). Do 1-2 time/wk to mix up your cardio.
- play high speed sports (soccer, basketball, speed skating, even dancing - as long as its fast moving and non-stop).
- Oblique exercises (twisting). Do a lot of these using the ab ball: sit on the ball hold a 10 lb weight and walk your feet forward. 'Lay down' and with the weigh above you twist to one side-up-pause-twist to the other side. Ensure you're using your obliques to do the work. Email me for more tips.
- Improve your nutrition to only eat low fat protein (chicken, etc.) and veggies (i.e. broccoli). Mix a little fruit in there for soem sweetness.
- Start taking a thermogenic fat burner (will burn fat faster when your body temp rises - i.e. working out), ripped fuel, or hydroxycut hardcore before your workouts.

The only way to drop those is to burn more calories than you consume. Whether that's by increasing caloric burn via exercise and muscle gain, or decreasing your caloric intake is up to you.

Of course, you CAN cheat: hide it under a man-girdle, or get liposuction. But neither of those is a real solution.
