One key to making gains is to vary your workout routine. Don't do the same exercises over and over again because your body adjusts and adapts to what you are doing. Also, you have to continuously increase the weight and/or number of reps over the course of a few months. If you don't increase the weight you are lifting or the number of reps you are doing, you will plateau and you won't see anymore progress. Variety is the key, don't get stuck in the same routine!

I have heard cycle training helps, you basically go maybe a week doing 10 or so pounds lighter than what you normally lift, then increase to five more pounds for another week and go back to your normal lifting weight and gradually try to increase the weight you put you should have stronger arms

go to www.crossfit.com. Learn how to do their exercises and you will break through your plateau's and receive gains you never thought possible. I sound like a salesman, but there is nothing to sell there as it is a community of people helping each other get fit.
