Whywhywhywhy??!

Question: lol, ok, so during spring break I was exercising like crazy, jogging a mile on the tredmill, (spelling...?) doing exercises in magezines, blah, blah, blah, so I was about 130, now I'm 140! What the heck? Any answers to this? Solutions? Belly fat gone? Help! And does water make you lose weight? I've been eating super healthy, yogurt, fruit for snacks, no food after 7, ugh, this is so annoying, I've been putting up with my weight since I've been little, I've never once been able to wear a 2 piece, and I'm going into highschool next year. So I'm about 5, 4, 140 lbs now, and almost 15, what to do? I don't have all the tome in the world to exercise, school you know? I don't want to join a gym, too pricy, and all I have right now in the basement... tredmill, total gym, weights, yoga video. Would yoga do anything? I tried it for a while, but stopped. Does it releive stress? Stress makes you gain weight? I've always been stressed out all of the time. So... I want to get to at least 115 lbs?

I understand your frustration! I've been a runner for years staring when I was 15, never really losing weight either. Last year I started walking instead and I dropped weight and inches like crazy! Happy bonus to the experience, my knees stopped aching too.

Good luck, and don't obsess over the weight too much. Being overall healthy is more important (:

It's more likely muscle. Measure your inches, if they're the same or less than you're doing great.

Exercising that much will gain more muscle than it'll lose fat, meaning you'll be heavier. (Muscle weighing more than fat and all that.)
And yes, water will make you lose weight, though indirectly. It'll fill your stomach so that it expands, and you won't be as hungry. It's the healthiest way to lose weight, actually. Drink water all the time and keep eating the way you are now. Most yogurts are actually very bad for you - apparently there are a few that are good for you, but I don't remember what they are... Sorry.
Avoid Italian food, avoid breads, eat only white meats if you must.

Whoa.

I've never dealt with weight problems...
but I suggest eat healthy and exercise regularly, not excessively.
And sleep alot?
I sleep alot, I'm 95 pounds...
not a healthy weight for a 14-year-old but it's in my genes.

Its like craming for a final - you pass the test but can't remembered what you learned next week. Fitness is a process keep do it and work to be healthly and fit and you will loose the weight.

water helps flush out the 'bad' things in your body but you can gain weight from water being stored in your body. yoga may help with stress relief ......... try karate to let out some extra energy.

Yes. Stress makes you gain weight. Learn to meditate and do creative visualization to see yourself in your mind exactly how you want to look in reality, together with a low calories diet. Be optimist and believe that you'll succeed.
And, really you'll have soon a superb success..
The right time to start is NOW.No tomorrow.

a little fluctuation in water can make a big difference on the scale. Try not to get caugh up in numbers, but more how your clothes fit. Weigh yourself at the beginning of the day and the end of the day 2x in a week and take the average of that weight and that will give you a better idea of where you are.
