Is cheese healthy for you or not?!?!?!

Question: Ok, this is kinda confusing....

See, everyone always says that cheese is fatty and packed with calories, which makes perfect sense.

BUT, then when you watch Kraft Cheese commercials, they say how important it is to eat some cheese, because it contains alot of calcium. :o\

Now, does this mean that Kraft Singles are good for you and that other types of cheese are fatty? How do I know which cheese is good for me and which cheese is bad?

Can someone please explain this to me?! Thanks! :o)

You could get just as much calcium (if not more) without the saturated fat by drinking skim milk.

To quote cookie monster cheese should probably be a "sometimes food" if you are trying to lose weight or watching your heart health.

Eating cheese is really good but don't eat to much of it. Cottage cheese is good to eat everyday with an apple or a fruit that you like.

Kraft Cheese products are some of the least healthy types of cheese. They are hardly real cheese at all; just "processed cheese foods".

Yes, cheese, including Kraft Singles, has calcium, in it. Milk, orange juice, and nuts, among other things, also have calcium. So while you need calcium, cheese isn't a necessary source of it.

It's kind of like unhealthy breakfast food cereal. They have bad products, but lots of vitamins and minerals.

Having said that, I love cheese, and eat it all the time! Hope this helps.
