Answers: Are beef hot dogs healthy or unhealthy for teens to eat?

You're gonna get a whole lot of answers about hotdogs containing "lips and A--holes", don't believe these outdated myths. The FDA tightened up on the contents on processed meats over a hundred years ago. These days your biggest worry when it comes to the frankfurter is the sodium content, unfortunately it's VERY high so it's not a good idea to wolf dolf a dozen dogs a day. As with most things in life, moderation is the key. And as far as beef verus mixed meat or poulrty goes - read the labels and you'll find that there's actually very little difference, even with the "lite" varieties.

Way unhealthy. Any kind of hot dog is unhealthy.

The closest thing you can get to "healthy" when speaking of meat is lean types like chicken or turkey maybe once or twice a week. Otherwise it is absolutely trash to your body.

No more unhealthy than other hotdogs. Your best bet as far as "healthy" hotdogs are the poultry ones.

i would say hotdog
