What foods do I need to eat to keep me alert while driving 10 hrs. a day ?!


Question: I drive 10 hrs. a day 5 days a week. I start to get sleepy the last couple hours. Lots of long distance, high way, boring roads. Any suggestions what might be good to snack on. Full meals are not good.

peanut butter, oranges, well pretty much any kind of fruit, trail mix, energy bars like cliff, kashi bars, oatmeal, coffee or energy drinks if you absolutely HAVE to but i wouldnt recommend them. good luck!

energy bars and caffeine work. I like 5 hour energy, as it kept me awake, but not with a bunch of energy I wanted to waste.
