Does starving yourself really work?!

Question: Starving yourself deprives your body of nutrients and fuel it needs to function. You actually need to eat to maintain a good metabolic rate which will help to burn bady fat.
Good food (not junk) and exercise.
Bad thin is not beautiful. It's freaky and unhealthy.

you'll reward yourself with one thing by doing that; Ulcer

NOOOOO!!!! Ths is very dangerous, it can lead to many eating disorders. There is always a proper diet, which includes a good excerise routine.

depends what you're trying to achieve. if you want to be stick thin, with a fine covering of hair all over your body and everybody staring. then sure, it works.

otherwise, never.

noo .. because u cant starve yourself all through your life and when you stop you tend to put maximum weight .. and even if you starve urself your body goes into starvation mode meaning the body stores the energy and doesnt let u use the calories you get from the food you at ... so u feel tired .... so trust me dieting .. crash diets dont work but yes stay away from all that stuff ... sweetts and fried food and all

Yes it does. Assuming you're trying to kill yourself, it works a treat.

no actually. you see, your body goes into a "starvation mode" when you starve yourself...just like being stuck on an island or something...so whenever you do take in something after starving yourself, your body will turn it all into fat. your body will also stick to this routine for a while afterwards just incase. your body will do whatever it needs to so it gets the right amount of energy to run properly...starving yourself will just end as a big mistake...breakfast is the most impotant meal of the day if youre planning to lose weight. tons of food, healthy food. your body will run on your breakfast meal ALL DAY LONG, give it a good amount of energy

No. It might result in temporary weight loss, but it will slow your metabolism and cause you to re-gain the weight you lost and more when you stop fasting. The best "diet" plan is eating sensibly and exercise.

No - the body in its desperation will cling on to all the fat it can manage, to keep alive for as long as possible, when it finally has to let it go you may be in serious trouble.

Just remember the Biafran starving - yes they lost weight but sometimes even all the aid agencies in the world couldn't have saved them after they have gone past the point of no return.

Even if you mean - a starve, eat, starve, eat kind of thing - the body will still try to hang on to the fat.

it will but it would be a nitemare...dont go there!

nope. not in the end at least.

No believe me I have done it and it is so not worth it girl, people may say it will work but I did it for a few weeks I ended up binging and everything and putting on more so It's better off eating healthy and exercising in my opinion.

no, your body will go into emergency fat storage mode, meaning that you will actually put on more weight at first and then some more when you start eating properly again.

You will only cause your body harm if you try to starve yourself. Healthy eating is the way to weight loss and actually keeping it off.
