Question: Im 16. I had a super fast metab but I've gained 20 lbs in the last 2 years from overeatting. If I exercise more and eat less, do you think my metab is still as good as it used to be or can it be as good again? Thanks.

Try focusing on eating JUST enough to satisfy your hunger...In a nutshell, eat 6 small portions a day, drink lots of water, and excercise. You don't want to STOP eating all together, you just don't want to overburden your metabolism by binging 3 times a day. It's actually a lot easier than it seems, because with a small portion every 2 hours (thats what it averages out to) your less hungry throughout the day and don't feel a need to binge.
Make sure the food you are eating though is healthy for you. Substitute beef for fish or grilled chicken. This has a lot more protein and iron in it to fuel your metabolism as well.
Your metabolism is like an engine to a car. It needs fuel..but putting improper fuel in it can detrement the quality and performance of the vehicle. If our bodies don't have fuel, our metabolism starts feeding off the protein in our muscles...which lead to withering of the muscles- but the fat still remains.
