Want to lose weight! I hate mirrors!?!


Question: I am 15 and I dont like my body. I am 5'3 and i weight 110 lb.
i want to lose weight and i want to be so much slimmer! All my friends tell me I have a great body, but my body is athletic from my sports days and I want to be slim and slender.
i dont like looking in mirrors because im big-boned and muscular. i want to be SKINNY!

please help?

i advise you to drink green tea 1-3 glasses per day
green tea speeds up your metabolism
drink lots and lots of water 8 glasses each day.
do not snack
do not eat 6 meals a day, try to only eat 3
if you are really hungry and you've had all your daily meals snack on fruits ( oranges, apples, bananas )
exercise more try and run for at least 30 minutes a day
get more active
get more sleep it prepares your body
stretch, yes it works and it doesn't just help you lose weight it helps with you're growing to make you a little taller
count your calories try to stay under the amount of 1300 calories per day
change you're lifestyle it makes a difference
do not eat candy or chips eat more greens or protein bars
avoid fast food and cut out fried food when you cook your meal oven cook your food do not fry it
chew gum because when you chew gum you do not pick at food for example if theres some chips in you're cupboard you go to them a think good damn they look good then you would say no i cant pick at them because i dont wanna throw my gum away
do not eat after 6pm because before 6pm you can burn all you're food off and if you eat after six it will lay on you're stomach as you eat.
do not eat before you go to sleep
drink a glass of water before you go to sleep
drink plain hot kettle water because it speeds up you're metabolism
do not weigh you're self everyday because it torments you,weight you're self once a week ( every Monday )

i seriously doubt you can be that big at 110 pounds no matter how muscular you are...LOL if you ever actually get fat in your life ...you'll look back and realize you looked amazing..

You really can't change your bone structure. 110 at 5'3" is fine & being athletic is even better. Try to be happy with yourself.

oh sweety don't go down that road, you're healthy, it's dangerous i'm in the same boat but it stems back from that. i'm 5'6 and almost 200 so i t could be worse, be happy with your body all that matters is that you're healthy, and i promise someone out there thinks you're perfect the way you are.

wow...i'm 5'1 and my ideal weight is 120lbs. If you are sitting at 110lbs with muscle you are doing good. I WISH. I don't think you have a weight problem at all...and I think you should talk to your doctor about maybe having something like anorexia because ...well anorexics always believe they are fat. And 5'3 110lbs is far from fat. Its very lean. I checked your BMI and you are a very low "normal" range. Check for yourself.

You are perfectly skinny. But trust me i feel the same way as you, i think i'm fat too when i know i'm not and my friends tell me the same exact thing. Well drink alot of water rather than soda trust me that will help alot. Eat fruits and veggies instead of junk food. Get the 100 calorie packs those are soo good even if they're aren't that much in them. Do some sit-ups if your bored, or some jumping jacks. Maybe even go on a little walk :) Hope i helped.

If you are lifting weights ,stop it.
First thing in the morning take a glass of warm water.
Start stretching exercises of YOGA.

So, if you can't believe the health claims on the food packages in the store, how are you supposed to tell whether or not a particular food will help you lose weight or if it will only make you fatter? Become a label reader! Regardless of what the front of the package says, manufacturers are required to list their ingredients on the back. Reading labels will help you make better choices and lose weight faster. Avoid the following foods like the plague and watch your bathroom scale take a nosedive.

1. High Fructose Corn Syrup - This is number one of the foods that create fat. Up until the past 35 years, almost all the sugar we ate was in the form of sucrose. It was produced from sugar cane and beets. The danger of pure corn fructose is in the fact that it is without enzymes, vitamins or minerals. The energy required for the liver to metabolize fructose forces the body to overuse its mineral and enzyme stores. High fructose corn syrup seems disrupt metabolism to such a degree that collagen and elastin production are markedly reduced. That's bad news if you suffer from cellulite! Eating this will make cellulite worse.

2. Cooking oil - Corn oil, canola oil, soybean oil and cottonseed oil are the cheapest cooking oils produced. They are used most often in the home and in restaurants. Unfortunately, they are so high in polyunsaturated fats that they are not healthy. They also oxidize much faster than other fats which generates free radicals and damages all the body's cells. Many degenerative diseases and certain cancers have been linked to this process. Healthier cooking oil options are unrefined coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil.

3. Hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oil - This deadly type of oil is also known as "trans fatty acids". Deadly, heart clogging stuff and terrible for the waistline as well. You will see this most often in pre-packaged snack foods, coffee creamer and commercial peanut butter. If this stuff is anywhere on the ingredient list, don't eat it!

4. Low fat or fat free snacks - Labeling food as "low-fat" or "fat free" has been really good for food manufacturers bottom lines, but not so good for consumers. These types of snacks, while they may be low in fat, are extremely high in sugar. Most often that sugar comes in the form of high fructose corn syrup. Research also shows that people overeat foods labeled as low fat. People think that the low fat foods contain about 25% less calories when in reality they only contain about 10-15% fewer calories. There is also a decreased sense of consumption guilt so people generally eat about 20% more of these so called healthy foods.

5. Soda - Both diet and regular sodas are basically carbonated chemical soups plus high fructose corn syrup or dangerous artificial sweeteners. There are absolutely no redeeming nutritional qualities in soda at all. Soda contains no vitamins, no minerals and no enzymes.If you crave a flavored drink without the calories, try a flavored herbal tea sweetened with stevia instead.

The bottom line is this, in order to lose weight fast it's an absolute necessity that you eliminate the foods that create fat and replace them with foods that burn fat.

Since muscle weighs more than fat, yet is more condensed than fat, it takes up less space, so, the fact that at 5'3" you weigh ll0 you probably appear to weigh 100. Any less and you would be considered ill. You cannot, no matter what you do, change your bone structure. Big boned, and 110 you are paper thin.
The problem is not your mirror miss Beautiful it is your self image. Be thankful, I know there is a ton of pressure on girls your age right now. Models admit eating disorders, but real boys never take models home or on a date, they are pretty to look at, but guys don't like the smell of vomit breath, nor do they enjoy taking a girl out for pizza if she wont scarf with him.
You are beautiful and strong, in great shape, the more athletic you are the more fit your lungs are and your heart, a strong endurance. So when you are all at the lake this summer you can challenge the guys to swim out to the dock and quite possibly win what do you think they will think then miss popular.

Hug your self and your athletic gifts, in a few years you will see great rewards for not being unhealthy.
