When dieting is it good to have one cheat day to shock your body?!


Question: Yes, but this is only once every 7-11 days. It's actually NOT a cheat day either! You want to just up your calories for one day by 50%. This does not mean junk food!!

Now, it is OK to give yourself real cheats every now and then. Just limit it to one meal and use restraint. Don't go crazy.

For low carb diets it definitely is. For other diets I am unclear if it would matter.
