No, it will just firm the muscles in your waist. YOU CANNOT LOSE FAT FROM ANY SPECIFIC PART OF YOUR BODY BY EXERCISING ONLY THAT PART. This is a MYTH and it is not true. For example, running everyday won't make you lose fat from your legs ONLY, but fat from all over your body. Where you lose the fat first is a matter of how your body works, but you cannot predict it or force it.
If you want to lose your love handles, you're actually going to need to just lose fat in general, via cardiovascular activities, dieting, and/or weight training.

You can hoop all you want but there is no guarantee that's where you'll lose the fat. You may increase your ab muscles but if they're under fat, you won't see 'em.

It depends on the intensity and the duration of the hula hooping. Yes you will lose the "love handles" but i can gaurentee you it will not be in the record time that you hoping for. It is considered "healthy" to lose two pounds in TWO weeks. You may lose a few pounds in one week but in order to keep it up you have to keep exercising the next week. I dont know why, but i know from experience. You have to understand that weight loss takes time. Dont beleive all those ads on the television. "lose 20 pounds garuenteed" it is all a hoax. If you are really serious about losing the extra weight, just put in hard work and get it in your head that it isnt going to happen overnight.
